A long overdue update: this is the logical thing to do after rolling up the carpet pad/dropcloth. I think it must have been just the carpet which was magic. This isn't going anywhere on its own!

The cork floor is awesome! How unique! Everything is really looking nice. It's hard to see the color of the wood trim in the pictures...did you paint that an eggplant color? The wall repair in the kitchen is amazing! Can't wait to see the cabinets installed! You guys are doing a fantastic job!! What is the little closet for?? LS
