Yesterday we took our first dump trip to get rid of the massive amount of garbage that a kitchen remodel and carpet removal creates. In the process of loading the truck, I snagged my finger on a nail sticking out of the old countertop. A very minor wound, but that's the reason for the tetanus shot.
We also met the neighbors to the west of us. YAY! They are very nice, and are working hard to renovate their place as well, and the exterior of their place is beautiful. They've been out of town, so it was nice to finally meet them! Plus it was nice to have someone to bum a band-aid off of. :)

Shanna...too bad about your finger injury...good thing you're getting a tetanus shot. The color scheme of the kitchen looks great...I love the cabinets...and the lighter color on the walls will be good with the wood and the countertop. I can't wait to see the finished product! LS
