Duhh ... a case of the stupids

Do you ever wake up and feel like you've lost half of your IQ points? That was us today. We got up, did some electrical research online, and then went out to start the next ... what, we weren't sure, because well, we're having a case of the stupids. What was the question?

I managed to put the old carpet on Craigslist for free, and it's all gone!

We bought the floor finish and paint, went back to the place and stared at wiring. And pulled staples out of the floor. And stared at wiring. And went to Starbucks for wi-fi to call electricians off of Angie's List. And went back to stare at wiring and take more staples out of the floor.

Then we realized it was almost 4 and we had to go pick up the rental truck, and got in the car to realize it was actually 4:30. Luckily they were still there, so we picked up the truck, drove back to the house and pulled more staples out of the floor and stared at more wiring.

We're taking a food break now and playing with the dogs. After dinner we plan to go back and take out more staples, but we decided we're done staring at wiring until we can call in a pro to stare at the wiring with us.
