After building the framing for the doors, we needed to route and mortise the area for the door locks (will be coming back later to fit the latch). Similar to the door opening, we used Simport galvanized steel plates on either side of the lock to add security/stability.
These are specialty locks which fit nicely in the thin framing of the doors.
Perfect fit.
