Transformer Trailer Table, or how to make a collapsible workbench with a trailer frame. PART I

In order to start the build of the side panels, we knew we were going to need a big workbench. We already have two in the garage, but neither of them are big enough to to hold 5' x 10' panels. But you know what would be? The trailer frame itself. So we decided to give it some legs and make it a workbench surface.

But realistically, building a traditional workbench base would be too big for our garage, so I found this REALLY nifty folding workbench on YouTube:

What's even cooler, is this would allow us to try our cool new tool (Jason's X-mas present): the Kreg K5 pocket hole joinery system.

The shelves also serve to stabilize the table due to the way they are seated on dowels: 

Our garage floor is far from level, so we knew we'd need levelers, and I ran across this video on how to make our own:

Next up: putting the trailer frame (below) on the top of the frame, covering it with MDF, and we'll have completed our workbench with folding frame!
