We've completed the trailer frame, installed the hitch and all the wiring in the car and trailer! It went out on its maiden voyage yesterday, where we took it to an undisclosed location to weld up most of the frame. We're leaving the wheel assembly just bolted in case we need to relocate it for balancing purposes.
The frame is a bolt-together from Northern Tools:

Unfortunately, there's a bit of a warp to the frame and it's not riding level. We're brainstorming ideas on how to fix it.

| We spliced into the turn & brake signals and had the brilliant (we hope) idea to power them by splicing into the 12V outlet in the boot, rather than trying to fish a new connection from the battery. |

This is great! I'm excited to follow along on this! Over the last year I have become obsessed with teardrop trailers and dream of having my own some day! In the meantime, I will live vicariously through you guys! :-)
